> Adjectifs courts = une seule syllabe. Exceptions : Real, right, wrong

> Soit comme court soit comme long :

> Orthographe :

• Voyelle simple accentuée : Big → bigger → biggest La consonne est doublée.

• Voyelle double : Cheap → cheaper ≠ cheapper*

• Voyelle simpe → le Y se transforme en i : Pretty → Prettier

• Sauf si c'est une voyelle double : Grey → Greyer
